Nail extensions using upper forms have taken over the world of nail styling. This method is not only relatively easy but also quick and effective, offering plenty of possibilities.
Dual Form – what is it?
Dual forms can be used for working with acrygel as well as gel. They can be used for both traditional extensions, as well as beautiful structural French and fantasy nails! The plastic forms are reusable, which makes purchasing a set a kind of investment. The forms come in various sizes and shapes. This variety means that a nail technician can easily match the appropriate width to a client's nail plate and achieve the desired shape. We recommend the MAXI BOX set containing as many as 288 pieces!
What products to use?
Slightly thicker products work best with dual forms, as they can be calmly and unhurriedly placed in the form and then transferred onto the nail. Acrygels or thicker gels work perfectly for this purpose. At BluLou you will find everything you need. For nails that are extraordinary and require no additional decorations, choose gels from the NO HEAT line, which come in a beautiful color range both with and without shimmer. If you want to achieve a natural cover color and are looking for something really thick, take a look at the gels from the Dual Form line, whose consistency resembles modeling clay, allowing you to work at truly any pace.
How to work with dual forms?
After preparing the nail plate and applying the base coat, we proceed to apply the appropriate amount of gel into the forms. The planned length of the styling also matters here. We should spread the product up to the appropriate line marked on the form. In the next step, we transfer the dual form onto the nail and press gently. Then we cure it. We remove the form and the styling is ready for finishing. At this step, the nails should be filed and color or decoration applied, or simply finished with a top coat. Done!
Structural French – is it difficult?
The Maxi Box Dual Form also contains silicone inserts that enable effortless and precise creation of the smile line for structural French. Thanks to the silicone forms, structural French will be much simpler and faster to achieve, and with proper cleaning and safe storage, you will be able to enjoy their properties for a long time, as like the dual forms, they are reusable.
